Datça Open Water Winter Swimming Marathon

The Datça Open Water Winter Swimming Marathon was rst organized in 2007 by the Datça Municipality. Since 2012, it has continued with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Datça District Governorship, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Datça Municipality, Muğla
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Datça Sports Club.

The Datça Winter Swimming Marathon is conducted under the sponsorship of Datça Municipality and organized by the “Datça Winter Swimming Marathon Committee,” which consists of a wide participation of volunteers.

This event, which is the rst regularly held open water winter swimming marathon in Turkey, has welcomed amateur and professional swimmers from countries such as Turkey, Greece, Sweden, the USA, and Germany in previous years.
